Harry & Penelope Seidler House

This is a truly outstanding house in a leafy part of Killara on Sydney's North Shore.

Led by the late architect's daughter, Polly Seidler, we were free to explore the interior and surrounds. We learned that the house was a collaborative project between Harry and his wife Penelope, who is also an architect.

Attention to detail was evident everywhere, with materials and finishes being of a very high standard. There was a masterful use of space, with large open plan living areas carefully separated from bedrooms, office, and study.

Design and completion 1966-1967.
Architects: Harry and Penelope Seidler.

N.B. During our tour, interior photographs were not permitted, as the house is occupied.
