Temora
Photos by Matt Stone.
The town of Temora is a little over 400 km west of Sydney. Originally known for agriculture and gold fields, it was later the base for an important WWII flying school.
Today, its aviation museum is home to Australia’s only two airworthy examples of the Supermarine Spitfire. The main thoroughfare of Hoskins Street includes some fine architecture from the inter-war era.
