St. Peter Julian's Catholic Church

Designed by architect Terrence Daly, and completed in 1964.

Daly's interior was masterful, and featured many specially commissioned artworks. Contributing artists included Irene Kalmar, Stefan Kalmar, and Andor Mezaros. The striking stained glass by Stephen Moor allowed light in from above.

Unfortunately, some rather heavy-handed remodelling of the interior took place in 2008, and it has diminished the subtle elegance of the architect's original work.

Much of the original does still remain however, and the stunning geometric coloured glass windows alone are worth a visit.
